i like writing romances (especially angsty slow burns), worldbuilding and reifying worlds into something that makes sense and is ✨ to me personally, situations that make characters have to face difficult thorny ethical decisions, and causing suffering on both my characters and my readers

nowadays i mostly don't write sandboxes anymore; i tend to prefer to go for threads that are going places and have at least the potential for long-term plot. that doesn't mean i never do sandboxes, but they're the exception rather than the rule.

i tend to like starting threads in media res and i've been working on the skill of making it make sense to the reader and not be too overwhelming or confusing. i've also been working on my pacing and choreography/blocking skills. i greatly welcome criticism, so long as it's minimally constructive. "this sucks" isn't very actionable, "this sucks because the pacing felt weird" is, even if it's vague; it at least gives me a place to look at. i also welcome messages of the "this looks like a setting inconsistency" kind but fair warning it could be a Clue or Foreshadowing instead. message me here or on Discord (i'm red in the glowfic server, alicorner, omnipolis, and geminisland) if you want to give me feedback!

my main templates are Azem, Thanatos, Helios, Cor, and Towa, and you can find specific descriptions of them and example threads on their character pages. sparking my interest is somewhat fiddly but i'm always open to thread suggestions, and leaning into my aforementioned likes is more likely to spark it, especially if they play to my characters' strengths/weaknesses/suffering

• Yggdrasil: a series of selfthreads set in my reified version of Ragnarök Online which is a great introduction to all of my main templates except for Towa.
• Guide: a continuity set in a setting based on the manhwa Guiding Hazard in which Thanatos alts as Lee Tae-gun and Yvette is his esper partner. includes some canon characters, heavily modified, as well as a ton of original ones. it gets pretty heavy and explores themes of betrayal, friendship, trauma, and healing. doesn't really follow canon at all. great for the Thanatos/Yvette ship.
• Gunsmoke: a continuity set in the Trigun Stampede universe in which my and Aestrix's characters circumstance alt and/or replace a couple of canon ones. it's a story about hope in the face of relentless adversity, trying to leave the world a better place than you found it, and seeking redemption for great evils committed in the name of the perceived greater good. it follows the plot of the anime until it doesn't. great introduction to the Azem/Yvette ship.
• とうかんといのり is omegaverse porn and it is fundamentally about the Azem/Thanatos ship. currently parts of the middle of the story are being added to to flesh out the start of their relationship so it might be a good idea to hold off on reading it until i'm done with that.
• Ice and Fire: set in the A Song of Ice and Fire universe with Azem replacing Robert Baratheon, Thanatos relpacing Ned Stark, and Yvette replacing Catelyn Tully. it's great for the Azem/Thanatos and Thanatos/Yvette ships.
• in addition to the above, Curtain and Sanguine Blossom are also good explorations of the Azem/Thanatos/Yvette dynamic/ship.
• Dragon Fairy Elf Witch (and its sequel continuity Extremely Light Academia): in which Cor is visited by an avatar of the Spirit of Femininity Unleashed, has far too many epiphanies in far too short a time, becomes a mary sue, and dates attractive people.
• Tamrielic Chronicles: a continuity set in a heavily sexualised AU of the Skyrim setting in which Cor is the Dragonborn.
