Her roommate decided to come along too, and she tolerated that because it'd really be more trouble than it was worth not to. And then a portal opens up under their feet, and they're clattering into a fucking dungeon, patio chairs and all. It's some kind of crypt. Full of walking skeletons. With medieval weaponry.

Mimi is screaming and clutching a twisted ankle. Marza is crouching and noticing that their table fell apart on impact, and that its central support column is: A) made of wrought iron or a decent imitation thereof, and B) pretty sturdy-looking in se despite the shoddy construction.
