"Well I don't know, I've never seen Deku's island."

"Well then, we shall decide. Take us to yonder Forest Fairy, fair Grendal."

"Certainly, dear guests."

She walks them across the island, over the little bridge, past everyone else's houses and the watchtower, and up a windy, fairly steep path filled with thick tall grass and saplings. Gren wends around them, but they block the way fairly effectively.

"Want me to carry you?"

"Nah, I got this. Someone clears all this out occasionally, but it always grows back pretty fast."

"Why is it called the Fairy Forest?"

"Because old stories say a fairy queen lives around here somewhere. You even see her sometimes, she looks like a ghost or something. I did once."

"We met a yesterday."

"Ooh, what was she like?"

"She was very rude and told us to go away for no reason."

"Aww... That's too bad. I hoped fairies would be super nice."

They're through the thickest part of the brambles now.

The view is pretty great from up here.

It is indeed.

Gren kinda wants to sit on this rock, the highest point on the island, and feel the wind on her face for a while. It's peaceful.

Even the twins find it relaxing.

And then some dice games on top of - not the world, but the local area.

"You looking forward to that coming of age thing?"

"I guess. It's not as big a deal as mom makes it out to be. But it's still a sort of proud moment, you know? I should probably go see her now actually, get dressed up and ready for it."

"Should we get some more clothes?"

"Probably, but you'd be okay with just the leaf-things as long as they don't fall apart eventually. You just look a little strange."

Reluctantly, they ask for some spare clothes.

They can have two of Gren's spare outfits. They're gender neutral enough that Zeke should be able to cope. 

Gren's special outfit is... Rather covering, somewhat thick, and very green. "Um. That looks kind of warm to wear, mom."

"It's not as bad as it looks, dear. And it's just for one special day. It's a tradition, you know?"

"I guess..."

The twins sympathise, but they do agree it looks nice.

"It's only for a day too."

She disappears into another room to put it all on. She looks very dashing when she comes out and poses. "Bet I look like the old stories about the Hero of Time."

They clap.

Blush. 

"I think I'm supposed to go show the whole island. At least it's cooler today than yesterday."
