It's not long in the grand scale of things until they get to the top of the fortress, to the balcony outside the jail room. "You ready?"

"Yes."

They break into the prison room. Tetra and her crew are following up as fast as they can run.

"Sami! We're back!" The prisoners are plenty happy to be rescued as Tabby and Zeke go to work on the cage.

The Helmaroc King, the giant bird, takes exception to this. It starts descending towards them through the cavernous room. "Tetra, hurry, get them all out! Zeke, Tabby, let's FIGHT!"

"Hisssss!"

She manages to leap onto the creature's back!

The monster tries to shake her off, but this leaves it open for a painful stab from the Master Sword. It shrieks in pain and convulses, flinging Tabby away.

It starts flapping its massive wings to disrupt everyone with gusts of wind.

Tabby, dazed, slides down a wall.

Nemo is chanting loudly - "But suffer me not the fury of evil! In the name of Din we fight the beast-" His slingshot doesn't seem to be doing much, so he goes toward Tabby and hands her a red potion. "Drink up."

Gren is running up the long circular ramp around the edge of the room, trying to get up towards the monster's head.

Tetra's crew has finished rushing out all the prisoners. Tetra looks back at the raging battle... And leaves.

"Stupid, greedy, pirates!" Zeke screams in the middle of slamming two monsters together.

Nemo's slightly crazed chanting seems to be having a calming effect on the bird's insane gusts. He pauses to say, "Tabby! Wind waker! So Gren can stab the stupid thing again!"

She starts waving it like a demon.

The Helmaroc King almost seems surprised that it can't gust its enemies around. But it just keeps ascending the tower as Gren tries to get above it.

Tetra returns! "Artillery support is here!" A giant boulder thwacks into the hole at the top of the tower and then falls in, but misses the Helmaroc King. Into her speaking-stone she calls, "A little to the right for the next shot!"

"Yay, helpful!"

Eventually one of the incoming rocks nails the bird, and Gren gets a few good stabs in. The tough armored mask it's wearing prevents Gren from hitting it on the head very much - even the Master Sword just bounces off.

Zeke tries to go for the eyes!
