Tabby hugs him. "Brave weasel."

"Yeah, well. There's probably treasure in Ganon's lair somewhere anyway!"

"I bet it's cursed!"

"I'm the one who might actually be able to lift the curse. I know magic."

"Careful, we burned people who went in for magic back home."

"Your argument doesn't hold here because I've been doing magic for years. It's useful. Nobody's burned me for it."

"Musta had some reason for it."

"Like 'people are evil sometimes'?"

"Don't listen to him weasel-witch! Magic is awesome!"

"Bleeding right it is!" He moves for a fistbump.

She complies! And manages not to break any fingers in the process!

"Speaking of which, I haven't actually practiced magic in a while. All this adventuring is more time-consuming than I thought it would be."

"Know anything smashy?"

"Hmm... How about fire potion?"

"Can you make that short shift?"

"If I mess it up I set Red Lions on fire. So maybe it's a bad idea." Shrug.

"Yeah, probably not."


He's suddenly reminded of Red Lions soon departure. 

Nemo mutters about other spells he could try, not noticing.

Zeke and Gren discuss battle strategies.

"We don't really have that much experience fighting but I think the big thing is to keep him busy and defending. There's four of us, so one of us can catch their breath while the other three fight if we need to."

"It's so unfair you don't get super strength."

"I have a glowing sword imbued with the power to banish darkness. Good enough for me."

"I wonder how decided the great hero should be so little anyway."

"All the legends and stories say the Legendary Hero is a young boy, the only one brave enough to fend off darkness. I'm not a boy, but I'm still a kid like in the story."

"I wonder why they were wrong about that."
