"That doesn't sound quite right, though. Well, maybe some of it. It's the Hero's sword, so it likes heroicness? I guess being nice is part of that. Though for a hero they'd call it gallant or something."

"Whatever. Let's go find the girl."

The girl is not much further, trying to free herself from where she is hanging by her scarf from a tree.

"Hey. You need some help?"

"Nope! Definitely not! I've got this... Under control!"

With a big heave, she recovers enough to cling to the branch and untangle her scarf. Then she drops down to the forest below. "Hah!"

"Hi! I'm Tabby, and this is my brother, Zeke.

"And I'm Gren! Do you know why the giant bird kidnapped you?"

"...Wow, what's with that green getup? Naw, nevermind. No clue at all why. But now that it's set me down again, I think I'll go and have my crew give it a little payback. See ya later, shore-people!"

She runs off, towards the forest entrance.

"Should we follow?"

"Probably." She runs after her. "HEY! WHAT'S YOUR NAME ANYWAY?!"

She turns around and grins. "Pirate Captain Tetra, at your service, scrubbies!" 

"BOSS!" Some burly guys appear. "Oh, thank goodness we found you, boss! We scared that bird right off we did with those last few shots."

"You're a pirate?"

"Indeed I am! Why, got something worth stealing? You can keep it, I've got a revenge to get. Let's go, Mudge." 

Gren mutters, "Stealing isn't nice..."

Tabitha just grins.

"Hey wait is that bird going to come back or anything?" Tetra ignores her. Gren chases.

When they get out of the forest, to the big bridge, that little girl Sami is waiting on the other side.

The giant bird swoops down and grabs her and flies off.

"SAMI! It got Sami!"

Tabby attempt to leap after it.

Then she will fall to the ocean below.

Gren looks like she wants to try the same thing.

Tetra says, "Damn, no catching up to it now. It's heading upwind."

"We need to go after her somehow!"

"Ugh... You guys are not my problem, okay? Sorry to see your friend gone, but we're leaving."

The same postman the Twins met a while ago suddenly lands on the bridge, blocking her way. "Stop right there, miss Big Bad Pirate. I do think you have some responsibility here."

"Hi, bird-postman!"

He blinks. "Oh, hello. You've left the Forest Haven? Nevermind, pleasantries can wait. Young lady surely you've heard the rumors that that creature, the Helmaroc King, is kidnapping young girls with pointed ears from all over the Great Sea. Pointed ears like those found on yourself and Miss Sami. I believe she was taken only because you brought her to this island."
