He writes down on the duplicated paper with ink and deposits that paper on top of a clean sheet. "Okay, guys, I want you to dismiss that paper now." What happens to the ink?

"Okay, this is horryfing."

"Ask them to bring that same paper again...?"

Temple asks that.

They do!

"Okay, this is still pretty scary, but well... less so. Do you have any specific tests in mind? I was thinking duplicating things minus specific parts and see their limits on volume, mass and number of copies."

"Hmm, I actually have lots of ideas popping up in my brain for testing, can you get me some pen and paper? I should write them all down."

"Of course. We should check: if copied non-scrolls can be turned into scrolls; if copied ink can make things vanish; if we can be selective about the vanishment and if so, how much; if vanished things show sign of being elsewhere; at what point two things become one enough to vanish together."

Temple provides pen and paper.

He writes this down and starts writing down some other tests that pop up in his mind, mentioning them aloud as he does.

They can produce and then perform tests for a long time. Will Temple's guest want snacks eventually?

Not unless he's reminded of them and his host wants to eat, himself.

Cool. Temple will bring something. Does Kero want some as well?

Temple brings chocolate cookies and tea, he offers Kero coke if the guardian beast thinks he can drink it without getting sick.

Temple is suddenly distracted by the amount of food Kero can consume, does he even have a stomach? Lungs? Does he burp?

He's not sure how he's biologically arranged but he does burp.

After a brief internal debate Temple decides he will think of an X-ray spell later. They're still doing magical testing with the cards. Oooh, look, let's try making extinct flowers.

How long will Sadde stay?

Until it starts getting dark, then it's time to go home.

Temple says farewell and resumes performing magic experiments.

Eventually, he remembers that homework is a thing and does that too.

Later Temple's mom arrives and he is there to greet her. Does Kero want to be part of this conversation?

Well, Kero is good nice evidence that magic is real.

Temple greets her and goes straight to the point: "Mom, I have to tell you something." Pause. "Magic is real."

He waves at Kero, who will hopefully introduce himself.

"Hi! I am Cerberus, Guardian Beast of the Clow Cards!"

Temple's mom looks between the two and then grabs Temple's by the wrist. "They founds us! We have to run!" She says while trying to drag Temple by the door.

"Wait, what?" Temple asks resisting the pull.
