Isabella is in some danger of catching up on her reading list. She'll just have to cultivate more interests. She could probably get into Klingon literature if she tried, she didn't give it a fair shake last time really. Their opera is more widely renowned but they do have some plainly written narratives.
"It makes up in immersiveness what it loses in objective detail."
"It's not all perfect strawberries all the time but it has its moments."
"Do you need more recommendations or have you heard of enough foods before that you can take it from here?"
"I've heard of enough foods to fill up a Randalian soft drive. Which doesn't altogether help with the problem of choosing which I should try."
"Are you imitating human tastebuds very closely? Because that would narrow it down, if not much."
"It wouldn't take any more effort for me imitate any other species taste buds, though for the strawberries I chose half human half vulcan, which I feel was rather a good decision given the results."
"I guess that makes sense, though I don't think I actually have an advantage over an unmixed human at enjoying strawberries. Are you making the food out of nothing?"
"No, I'm just checking because I don't eat meat that wasn't created de novo and like chicken fingers."
"It would be quite the exception to the sterling discernment you seem to have exhibited in your choices so far."
"I didn't say I had bad taste, but I don't tend to seek out exceptional food. Commonplace ones can taste good too. Strawberries aren't exceptional at all."
"They're not rare and they're not skillfully prepared, they just grow that way! Many years of domestication helped but that's true of most things humans eat."
"I'd be happy to take your recommendations for unexceptional foods as well, if we just call them that."
