"It's better that he's unhappy for a little while than him being allowed to keep killing people."

"Yeah, no question there. But it'd be even better to have neither of those. I don't want to miss something and make things worse than they have to be."

Hug. "You're doing a good job already."

She grins, and returns the hug. "Thanks."

Lunch?

Of course!

Food: is a Good.

It is!

(The kobold gets a bone from Bar to supplement her cafeteria meal.)

How's the Sith doing?

Mostly the same. The fruit is still smeared on the wall, but the breakfast sandwich has disappeared.

It is actually kind of impressive how this guy can stay angry for so long.

Anyway, here, have half a sandwich again.

It is ignored.

That's apparently fine. He can have the other half of the sandwich and a bottle of juice and a paper bowl of veggies, too, and she'll leave him alone.

"Any plans for the afternoon?"

"Digging out more of the reception area, if Satele doesn't want me doing anything else."

"Sounds like... fun?"

She chuckles. "I'll be fine on my own, you don't have to come."

"I'd totally go with you if you wanted me to! But yeah."

The kobold giggles and leans on Ana. "Go have fun with your friends, I'll see you at dinner."

Hug. "Try not to get in too much trouble without me."

Hug.

Off to find Satele. Is she in her room? Is the door open? Does the kobold have the opportunity to demonstrate that she no longer feels the need to wait outside?

All of those things are true! How convenient.

Bowing does continue to be a thing, though, she still does that. "Hello." Grin.

"Greetings. You are somewhat more forthright today than usual."

She inclines her head agreeably, still grinning. "In a culture where nobody speaks, nonverbal gestures are important. Approaching an acquaintance in a semi-private space is rude, almost hostile, in mine. Approaching a friend, or a prospective friend, the same way is much more neutral."

Satele smiles.

"That is interesting to know, and good to hear. I would like to consider you a friend as well."

The kobold's grin brightens into a smile, and she inclines her head again, and then sits on the floor facing Satele. "That's not the only reason I'm here, of course."

"Of course. What do you wish to discuss?"
