He's at a desk staring morosely at a very shiny glowy treasure looking thing. Maybe even the thing they're here for.

"Um, what's that?"

"Go away. I wish to be alone. Um, t-that's a royal order from the chief's heir."

"Well I'm not one of the chief's subjects, so neeh."

"I'll call Sharp Beak in here if you don't leave."

"And who's he?"

"He's a tough guy. You don't want me to call him."

"I'm a tough girl."

"SHARP BEAK!!! SOMEONE IS BOTHERING ME!"

"YOU BETTER GET HERE, QUICK!!!" shouts Tabby in an unnervingly good imitation of the prince's voice.

"-Who even are you!"

Someone is jogging but not sprinting towards the royal room.

"I'm Tabby, queen of the vampires!" Well, there probably aren't any other vampires in this world. But would that make Zeke king or prince?

"Where does your tribe live? Why did a queen go into my room even when I said not to?"

"They live far beyond the horizon, and the queen goes where she pleases!"

Sharp Beak arrives. He does look pretty tough for a human. For a Rito.

"Sharp Beak! She says she's a queen but I don't see any retainers or crown or anything. And she keeps bothering me. Please escort her away."

Sharp Beak sighs, a bit. "Of course, my prince. I'm sorry, miss, but will you please come with me?"

"I only came here to cheer him up. And I think he's up to no good with that glowy thing! And for your information, vampire queens don't need crowns or retainers. We radiate natural nobility."

"The glowy thing was a gift from my grandmother! The last thing I still have of her! And it's called Din's Pearl you meanie!"

Sharp Beak attempts to pick up Tabby, over the shoulder.

She breaks free. "I'm sorry that I called it a glowy thing...it wouldn't have to do with the dragon being angry, would it?"

"...Not really. It was a gift from Valoo a long time ago."

Sharp beak looks on at them. Prince Komali doesn't seem really upset right now at least. He stays, though.

"Does it do stuff beside glow? Not that it isn't cool enough already."

"Treasure of the gods. Apparently it can unlock some kind of ancient magic if you have all three of the same kind of thing."

"Cooool. Any idea what magic?"
