This other seagull agrees! It's probably another person driving a gull, but there's not really a way to tell which.

Zeke the seagull tries to say hello.

He's not the seagull anymore and says hello with his real body. "...Hi? Oh. Don't try to talk, you can get back to being the gull if you do it fast."

He does so, and chases the other seagull.

Their seagulls are about equal in terms of athletic ability, it's hard to catch her.

It's kind of nice being equal...

Eventually, it wears off. "That was fun!"

"You actually beat me."

"Well, we were seagulls, not people-shaped. I'd be really surprised if your seagull got to be a super-seagull."

He starts humming the Superman theme tune.

"What's that song?"

"Oh, you wouldn't know who Superman is, would you?"

"Nope, you're right, no clue."

'He's this pretend thing from our world that is super strong and stuff."

"So he's a story hero, okay, and that's his song?"

"Yes. Doesn't really have words."

"...I'm getting kind of worried about Medli."

"Yeah, it's been a couple of hours."

"We have to go look for her in case she's hurt or something then."

"Me and Tabby should go look. You should stay with Nemo."

"What if there are lots of monsters up there? Or some monster that can't be hurt without magic? The Hero's Sword likes me more than it likes you two..."

"But you're all...squishy."

"And you're not? I bet lava will kill you dead just as much as me. And I came all this way to rescue people. Medli is a person."

"And what happens if you need rescuing?"

"Then you and Tabby rescue me. And if Tabby needs rescuing, you and me rescue her. I don't think Nemo will want to come."
