Well, he'd possibly be glad to hear it, but right now he's too busy rushing the work done and then messing around on his phone.

Eventually the lesson will end and they'll again have gym.

And is Thar feeling better now, or is he still acting weird?

Still acting weird. Look, he's even being frustrated! With Rashel! This never happens! At least, not honest frustration, anyway!

How is Thar showing his frustration?

By shouting at her. About… things. And he's actually being kinda mean about it, and Rashel's starting to get a bit upset but shouting right back at him.

With all the commotion, a teacher might come over at some point.

Okay, while being a jerk is kinda hot, being an unfriendly jerk isn't. Kay might come over and stand around looking not so vaguely menacing, maybe try to interpose himself between the two if Thar doesn't stop.

He will eventually stop, but he will glare daggers at Rashel from afar.

When they actually play the game, he might hit the ball a little too hard a few times. Turns out he's a little bit frustrated.

Well, Rashel's just hurt, and she might flinch a few times if he hits the ball against the edge of the court too hard.

But she's not going to let Thar being a dick ruin her gym class.

And she shouldn't, Kay tries to comfort her as best he can.

"Do you think something happened? Like his pet died or something?" Krian asks Ev.

"I honestly have no clue. He doesn't have any pets as far as I know, but sheesh, something really is up with him today."

Thar laughs a bit manically. "My pet dying wouldn't cause this sort of thing."

Apparently he heard.

"It was the most charitable idea that I could come up with given the little I know about you."

"Aw, thanks babe," he says, dismissively. "Good to know."

"Seriously, what is up with you today?" Rashel asks of Thar, sounding annoyed.

"You are very welcome."

Thar doesn't seem inclined to respond to either of those comments.

Ev looks at him and notices something– off. More off than just being generally ill-tempered.

Well, unfortunately for Ev, Thar can't comment on his internal dialogue.

They can try their best to ignore Thar for the rest of gym?

Yeah, sure, they can do that, and he'll go talk to some other people and seem genuinely interested in talking to and interacting with them.

Owch.

Whatever. He can be like that if he wants.

As long he is being like that away from Rashel. Kay tries to comfort her.

That's nice of him.

Mainly she just wants to focus on other things right now.

Eventually, gym ends. Thar looks over at Rashel and Kay and the rest of the group with a slightly confused look on his face, and then he disappears to get changed.
