He sighs, but it doesn't seem like he wants to do any work.

Well then, she'll just get on with her own work and tut at him disapprovingly.

And he will ignore her.

Until a few minutes later, when he starts poking her because he's bored.

She'll shrug him off because he's being annoying, and if he keeps poking her, she'll give him an annoyed look.

She's not really in the mood to deal with Thar being weird today.

Well, luckily for her, he'll… stop after she glares at him.

Then he'll lean over his work and start tapping against the desk with his pencil, swinging his legs.

Apparently he's a bit bored today.

And so the lesson will continue, with Rashel being slightly annoyed at Thar for being distracting, but it's ultimately his own fault and his problem if he doesn't perform as well as he could at school due to lack of effort.

Indeed it is! And he'll tap a few beats to a few songs, maybe fill in a couple of things on a worksheet, and overall, he'll just be slightly bored and frustrated for the rest of the lesson, occasionally flicking his head in an annoyed way.

Stupid school.

Then the lesson will finish, and Rashel will put her stuff away and go to her next lesson – Art, with Kay.

Thar, on the other hand, will gather his notebook and pencil in one hand, pick up his bag, and race out of the classroom before anyone else has made it much out of their seats.

And, approximately an hour after this, Ev and Krian will make their way over from chemistry to physics, which they have with Thar and Kay.

Thar is not yet present.

Then, about twenty seconds before the late bell goes, Thar will arrive in the classroom, taking a seat near the back.

He looks very bored.

Art! Art was nice! Kay is actually enjoying learning about all the dead artists.

Afterwards he talks to Rashel between Art and the next class.

Krian is not a "in the front" type of student, but he is also not "near the back". He will sit next to Ev and just give a confused look at Thar.

And physics starts, with Thar being very frustratedly impotent and unable to leave.

You know what? He can't be bothered to be in physics right now. He's gonna leave halfway through, claiming he has a dentist appointment if the teacher bothers him. Then he's gonna walk over to the library and look up some ways to get out of school early. He's so fed up with it all.

Well, Ev looks at that a bit weirdly, because he's pretty sure Thar didn't mention anything about any dentist appointment previously, and so he texts Rashel about it.

Rashel, being a good and studious pupil, of course does not have her phone on during biology, no siree.

Yet she somehow manages to text Ev back anyway. No idea how that could happen, of course, her phone was off because she was paying attention to the lesson.

She had no idea that Thar had a dental appointment. She's pretty sure he doesn't, and he was acting funny in chemistry, so she's not super happy with the idea that he actually did go to the dentist.

Well, that's… slightly frustrating, but he can't exactly leave to go after Thar.

It's not like it's super unlikely that he has a dental appointment and they just weren't notified – it's not like he needed to tell them or anything – but it still seems like weird behavior.

If he's asked about it by Krian or Kay – which he doesn't expect, since it's not particularly weird to an outside observer – he'll just tell them he has no idea about it all.

Krian actually notices that the behavior is weird and asks about it.

Kay doesn't think that hating physics is weird. He does think the behavior is unusual for Thar.

Well, in that case, Ev has no idea about it all!

And physics progresses, and then eventually ends, and then it is lunchtime. Ev will sit in his usual spot, leaving space for Thar, but not really expecting him to show up.

Rashel will wave at Ev as she enters the cafeteria, and also look around for Thar, but she doesn't seem particularly hopeful either.

However, despite them both doubting that he'll show up, he indeed does show up! Looking super cheerful and ready for the rest of the day.

"Hey there. Having fun cutting classes?" Kay says approvingly to Thar.

Thar laughs a bit. "I have no idea what you mean," he says, smiling.

Ev doesn't look particularly amused, but he's not gonna comment on it.
