Who is not very skilled but very, very enthusiastic. And who has a ridiculously high capacity, and isn't particularly careful about conserving energy.

"This is fun, but I can't wait to be able to actually help against the witches," she says during a lull in the sparring.

"Sparring is helping," Kaylee says.  "It's nice to get in some practice without having to fear for my life.  - but I know what you mean."

"What was fighting that other magical girl like?"

"Scary.  Really scary.  ...But also - kind of exciting.  The adrenalin rush is really..."

She trails off, making a vague gesture.  Now that she says it out loud it sounds like kind of an ominous sentiment.

"I think having to fight another girl would be the worst thing ever... People should get along."

Kaylee smiles kind of sadly.  "Hopefully we'll be able to - fix it.  Or at least make it happen less often."

Smile. "I'm sure we will. That's the whole point of this team, isn't it?"

"Exactly."

"You guys are really awesome. I'm glad I found this group, I'd have been - lost - without it."

"Aww, thanks.  ...Was Kyubey - hounding you, before you found out about us?"

"...What do you mean?"

"Like - really pressuring you to become a magical girl?  I figured that was what you meant by being lost without the group."

"Not really? I knew I wanted to be a magical girl, but I could never decide what to wish on - he did encourage me to stop overthinking things and go ahead and wish, but he was very friendly about it, and I really was being way too wishy-washy..."

"I mean, it's a pretty big decision.  I don't think there's any shame in wanting to mull it over."

"I like what I settled on, though!"

Kaylee shrugs.  "I'm not saying it was a bad call, sorry if that came out wrong.  I think you used your wish really well.  I just - I don't know if that means you were being too wishy washy."

"Eh, I have trouble deciding stuff in general, it's a problem with me... But thanks."

"No problem!  - oh, we should probably get back to sparring, huh."  She laughs sheepishly.

"Oh, yeah! Wow, I got totally distracted..."

"Yeah, I do that a lot."  She traces a ribbon into existence through the air.  "Shall we?"

She makes a staff. "Let's."

Training continues; Kaylee's getting pretty good at using her ribbons to make thrown nets.

Taylor's mostly focusing on making ribbons at all, without taking forever at it. She gets caught by the nets a few times, and always starts laughing when she does.

Kaylee giggles along.

Eventually, sparring is over, and it's time to hunt.

Taylor heads home before the hunt, and then everyone else sets out.
