And then they can eat (the pizza really is pretty good, with a decent array of choices), and chat for a little bit.

This is good pizza, and Kaylee says as much.

They chat!  About school and friends and the superhero franchise they're about to dive into halfway through.  Kaylee's even more smiley than usual.

Lianne's seen a few of the movies, but, yeah, she'll probably be a bit lost. Hopefully the filmmakers will take into account people unfamiliar with the other movies and the source material.

Afterward dinner they can 'shop' for a bit, while actually discretely dowsing for witches.

No witches are in evidence, at least not yet.

If they don't find anything in time, they'll go into the movie, though Lianne gets an uneasy feeling.

'You okay?'

'Yeah. Just feel like something should've happened by now is all. It'll pass.'

Tentatively, she takes Lianne's hand.

Lianne squeezes her hand. 'Thanks.'

Squeeze.  'No problem.'

"So, wanna grab some popcorn, or are you still full from dinner?"

"Popcorn sounds good. Maybe some candy, too, I'm in the mood for dessert."

"Ooh, yeah, that sounds good."  She beelines for the concession stand.

And candy and popcorn can be gotten. Then, on to the movie. The theater's a bit crowded, but the movie's been out for a bit, so good seats are still findable - which is lucky, because Lianne's kinda picky about where she sits.

Kaylee isn't as picky, she'll sit where Lianne sits.  She has a good time!

So does Lianne! There are enough fight scenes and explosions to entertain her, and the plot's actually pretty solid.

"That was fun," Kaylee says, as the credits roll.  "Did you like it?"

"Yeah! Definitely my type of movie."

"I'm glad you had a good time!  I did too."

"We should definitely do this again sometime!"

'Wanna hunt again for a bit before calling for a ride?'

"Yeah, I'd like that."

'We probably should, yeah.'

"Let's explore outside the mall some." 'Since we already checked the inside.'

'Sounds good.  Do you want to try to get in touch with Kyubey?'

'Yeah.' Then: 'Kyubey? We're ready to hunt.'

'You're at the mall, right?  I'll meet you there.'

He does, just outside the entrance.

'Thanks for the help!'
