Yaaaay!

She'll sit and watch while they run around.

Which they do very energetically. Teleporting balls are a big hit.

Yeah, little kids'll do that.

She tries sketching them, and then remembers the holocam, and is most of the way to getting the holocam set up to take holos of force signatures when the younglings start to lose steam.

Now it is nap time. Back inside!

Follow follow!

And now the younglings lay down to sleep for a while.

She casts one last round of spells on the holocam - the magery equivalent of saving her work - and goes to hang out with the Master.

"You have a real gift for this."

She grins, just a bit shyly. "I'm a Speaker, it comes with the job. And they're good kids, the lot of them."

"Well, any time you would like to visit, you are welcome to."

Continued grinning. "There's a couple other things I want to look into, but I'll be around at least sometimes."

Smile. "Excellent."

And she grins and goes back to working on the holocam; she figures out the last piece of its puzzle after another ten minutes and has it enspelled how she wants it shortly after that.

And shortly after that, the younglings wake up!

Yay! Hi, younglings! What do you usually do now?

Now it is time for a lesson in galactography! To the library!

That sounds neat! Would she need to read, or is it all holos and teachers?

Holos and teachers!

Awesome, she'll come sit in then!

And here is the library and here is a big holographic map of the galaxy. Wow that's a lot of stars.

Today they are learning about the Sluis Sector, which is highlighted on the map here.

The kobold pays more attention to the teaching style and the students than the lesson, but she's pretty circumspect about it.

The lesson is conducted in a question-and-answer style, with the students being fed small pieces of facts and then encouraged to draw conclusions about them.

That's not exactly kobold style, but it's really close; it'd actually be hard for it to be closer and still be primarily based on language rather than direct firsthand examples. Which would make it pretty hard to teach about the Sluis Sector.

The kobold is pretty pleased about this.

Learning: continues to happen.

And eventually class is over, and it seems to be dinnertime.
