Hug! Noms!

Noms and hugs. And leaning, and grinning.

Yes. And then, off to bed.

And the next day contains no Sithy stuff at all, besides a quick check of the reception area before lunch. It does, on the other hand, contain a visit to the creche.

Where the younglings are all very excited to see her! They're almost as tall as she is! Look, look!

She looks, she looks! And does safe temporary spells for them and lets them pet her and draws their force flows, isn't that neat?

So neat! Wow! The kobold is really good at drawing.

Hee.

Well, the trick to being really good at drawing is paying attention to what you see instead of what you think, which is also really important for a lot of other things, maybe they want to practice? She can set up an example for them.

Hmm, okay...

Look at them concentrating!

(The Master is very impressed with the kobold's youngling management skills.)

The kobold is having fun, this is pretty cool.

Once she's pretty sure she's not going to disturb them too much by moving away, she goes over to talk to the Master - she's going to be having a bit more free time now, and she might want to spend some of it doing this, and if there are any kids who'd particularly benefit from the attention, maybe point them out? Also she's not actually sure how they do things here, so if there's anything it seems like she needs to know she's very open to being told.

The kobold is doing a fine job, from what they can see. They'd be glad to have her stop by more often. Those three especially, they point, would benefit from extra attention.

She thanks the Master and heads back over to the kids. How are their drawings coming along?

They're almost done! Look, look!

She looks, she looks! And offers compliments and advice with similar breezy cheerfulness. And then snacks, what kinds of snacks do they all like? (And how are those three taking all this?)

Fruit! Fruit is a good snack.

(The three are more reserved than the others, but they seem to be gradually getting into the excitement along with the rest of the younglings.)

She can do fruit! Have they heard about the new fruits she's been bringing to breakfast? Here's a tray of fruit slices, two-thirds familiar and one-third things that they don't have in this world!

(She doesn't push them - in fact makes a point of backing off a bit if any of them start seeming overwhelmed - but keeps an eye on them to get a feel for what kinds of approaches might work.)

Yay fruit! There are many noms.

(It seems they just take a while longer to get up to speed. They respond well to personal attention.)

The kobold likes fruit too, and will nom right along with them.

Do they have any ideas for what they want to do next?

Usually around now they go out to the fields and run around.

That sounds like fun. Would they like a teleporting ball or three to play with?
