Zeke was secretly hoping for a party.

They can have their own little party.

Gren picked up some kind of new board game about flying from place to place from the Rito and wants to try it out!

Zeke at least is agreeable to that.

The core problem in the game is that you can only be in one place at a time, but need all sorts of different stuff... Trying to get something in particular means going far out of your way and getting less stuff overall. And maybe someone else gets it before you. It's tricky and interesting!

Zeke wishes he could remember the fine details of some of the board games he and Tabby played on Earth. Forgetting sucks.

"We can make up the fine details again and write them down and play it and see what feels wrong and change it."

And then they reinvent Monopoly. The poor fools.

Yeah... This game is kind of confusing and doesn't really make much sense?

Nemo arrives and cheerfully pokes a lot of holes in the game's rules.

Arguing is the true purpose of Monopoly.

Soon Nemo is bored and he goes to repack all their stuff for the next part of the adventure.

"Where to next, Red Lions?"

"Either Greatfish Isle or Forest Haven. The Deku Spirit and Jabun the Water Spirit hold the remaining two Pearls."

"Wanna meet Deku, guys?"

"Indeed yes."

"Yep!"

"I think he'll like you two."

"We shall have to see... Actually, you could sleep here if you like. Evening approaches and my deck, as it is, is not particularly large."

"We need to keep moving," Gren insists. "I'll help you sail for a few hours and then someone else wakes up and does it. Sleeping on a moving boat can't be that hard right?"

"Sleeping is like a cat superpower."

"Ah... There is one more problem. The wind is not correct. I should have given this to you sooner... Young heroes, please take the Wind Waker." He produces a very elegant conductor's baton. "It is an ancient artifact that has the ability to call upon the powers of gods if used correctly. Most of the songs are forgotten... But there should be a wind shrine somewhere on this island. I am sure it will have the melody you need to command the winds."

"I'll ask our new friends where it might be. Be right back."

"They pointed the way. It's on the way up, but easy to miss, come on!"

Tabby flicks the baton back and forth while they walk.

It positively thrums with power. Apparently, this is a sort of magic that likes Tabitha more than the Hero's Sword does.
