The koroks are still mostly gone! Hollo is up in his workshop and he's the only one easily found.

"Aww, just that? Guess it's good you didn't need all of it..."

"We're just that good! How's Deku?"

"Oh... He's grumbling about how there's so many monsters around lately. Apparently they stole something."

"Uh oh." He runs off to Deku.

Gren follows, gliding down.

"Deku!"

"Ho... Little one, you've been gone for much less time than I expected. And you brought friends with you. Did the monsters trouble you along your way? There are far too many of them of late..."

"We had to kill a bunch, yeah. This is Gren. The boy with Hollo and Tabby is Nemo. We're on a quest!"

"A quest to stop this guy called Ganon from kidnapping everyone."

"Oh, calamity... Now I know why the monsters attacked. They took Farore's Pearl. If I'm not mistaken, that's what you're here to get."

"Oh. Any idea where they went?"

"They're in the dark woods. But there are very, very many of them now, little one."

"I have the Hero's Sword! And they're fast and strong. We can probably take them."

Zeke hisses.

"Why'd you do that?"

"Be calm, children. If you're going to go in there after the pearl anyway, at least be rested when you do. I see that it's urgent but the pearl does you no good if you are defeated by monsters."

"Sorry, that's just a thing we do sometimes when we're about to fight or kill something. And Deku's right."

"...Yeah. No matter how much I want to go rescue Sami right now, we're doing all this searching because preparation is important. We can rest a little and go after it tomorrow morning?"
