He jolts awake. "I heard that. I'll try to sleep on my side. That helps."

He almost wishes Tabby would make Nemo her friend/fellow vampire/eventual mate thing. At least kittens don't snore.

He manages to sleep while snoring very quietly.

Once he wakes up properly, Zeke rather enjoys the solitude. 

Red Lions is there to chat if he wants.

"Is it nice being a boat?"

"It is. I have always enjoyed the sea. However, it can get tedious... Can you keep a secret, young one?"

"My lips are sealed."

"I was not always a boat."

"....Is it weird I sort of suspected that?"

"Not necessarily. Talking boats are strange."

"Who were you before being a boat?"

"Ah... That is a secret I prefer to keep a while longer."

"Okay."

So they sail on. Red Lions expect them to reach Forest Haven around noon.

Tabby entertains Nemo with stories about her world and family-edited to remove references to rampant murder. 

"And that's how we got Angie to stop chewing on the pillows."

"I wonder if she ever got you guys back for that."

"I hope she gets to someday."

"...Oh, right. You're stuck here. How did that happen, anyway?"

"Don't know, really. Magic stone I think."

"I'm not a magic expert. Only the ancients are that. But I can try to take a look at it."

"...I'm worried it'll take you away."

"That would be... Bad. Did you actually touch it, when it brought you here?"

"When me and Zeke were both touching it."

"If I don't actually touch it I'm probably reasonably safe then."
