They reach the ground presently. Gren runs up to Red Lions and describes the trek in a rush, hurrying toward the boss fight and what happened after.

"Sometimes your world reminds me of a game me and Tabby played when we broke into this guy's house."

"You should not break into houses. The crystal is a Heart Container... They can be used to create especially strong monsters, as you saw, or to simply grant one a measure of strength and health, and a few other things. What sort of game?"

"It was sort of like a picture book, except you could decide what happened, sorta. And the pictures moved."

They're singing. It's not in the common language, but still fairly pretty. Medli is dragging (well, not literally dragging) the Prince Komali toward them. He's still holding the pearl.

"These guys calmed down Valoo! You can go up to get your scale as soon as the cavern gets cleaned up!"

"Glad to be of help, Little Miss," says Zeke in a very fake cowboy accent.

"That pearl... Young man, I am sorry to ask you this. But that pearl is the treasure we came here seeking. It is required to defeat the great evil plaguing the land."

He looks thoughtful.

"We could bring it back when we're done."

"As future chieftain of the Rito Tribe... I will grant you the treasure Din's Pearl with the promise to return it when your task is done. If you give me your new Heart Container I overheard about as collateral until then." His tone is nervous, but determined.

"Aww, I like it... But, deal."

"Thank you, your highness."

Gren shudders a bit when Red Lions pulls the Heart Container, then hands it to Komali. "That feels so weird."

"I'm still not clear what those actually do."

"It made me feel so... So healthy, and stronger. I was moving better, the sword felt lighter..."

"Yeah, I see what you mean. Maybe I should give it to someone else who actually needs it... I'll talk to Father about it."

"That'd be wise."

"Yes, I probably will. A future chief needs to allocate resources responsibly after all." He puffs himself up proudly at these words. (It looks a bit silly.)

She still bows.

"I'm glad we got to help calm down Valoo, and still got what we came here for. Everybody wins. Good luck with everything, Prince Komali, but we need to move on as soon as Nemo gets down from the mountain."
