"Well, I kind of need my sail. I want to find one that nobody needs, it'll be cheaper for you. Though if you really want mine I could maybe be convinced to sell it."

"Or you could borrow ours."

"If you already have a sail why are you looking for another one?"

"It's a magic leaf, and it's not big enough for our new boat."

"That sounds pretty neat. Could I see it?"

He can.

He investigates it some, twirls it around, rolls it up and unrolls it again, peers at it with a special lens, lets it catch the wind...

"This is a nice artifact."

"Deku gave us them."

"Hey, I know a Deku! This one guy who I buy potions from talks about a Deku sometimes. He's a tree apparently?"

"Yeah. You know Hollo?"

"Yep. I mail him things all the time. I thought I recognized you, he talks about you two. Nice to meet you!"

"Nice to meet you, too."

Tabby's eyes narrow. "What does he say about us?"

"You're strong and fast, you're not human, you used to be super mean but Deku 'fixed' you. Don't know what that means but it sounds a little ominous. You play lots of fun games with people and kill evil things and bring him magic ingredients."

"That's about right. We used to be even stronger and faster and everything, but Deku took a lot of it away to fix us."

"What exactly did he 'fix'?"

This will probably determine whether he would consider visiting, if the opportunity comes up.

"We used to not really care about people at all."

"That sounds awfully lonely. He made you care again? But made you weaker too?"

"Yeah."

"Hmmmmmm."

"...Did he give you a choice?" She sounds a little afraid.

"Not really, but we did try to attack his koroks, and he was really nice about it."

"It sucks we can't really make more of us like we used to."

"Okay if he was defending his tree-children that's a good reason and I am a lot less nervous about the whole thing. Still nervous, mind you, that he can change folk like that. But not as much."

"Yeah. And... Make more of you?"
