They climb onto her shoulders. 

And she goes to the boat and asks, "Do you mind if we sleep on top of you? We'll probably get a sail tomorrow. And maybe someone else to come along. And do you have a name?"

"I am known as the King of Red Lions. Red Lions if that's too long. And, yes, you may sleep inside my hull. Those kittens are Miss Tabby and Mister Zeke, correct?" Gren nods.

She climbs in and goes to sleep.

When she wakes up, the twins are on the beach getting dressed.

She slept in clothes. She looks away and folds up the blanket. "G'morning."

"Morning! Sleep well?"

"It's not my house... I probably smell so salty now. But yeah, slept good enough."

"Shame you can't get all small and furry like we can."

"Wouldn't fur make it worse? But oh well, I can stand not having a bath to save Sami and whoever else got kidnapped."

"Cats are good at keeping clean, and they take up less space."

"Yeah there's that. So do we go look for Nemo now? Or just relax a bit, or fish more, or what?"

"I don't want to keep Nemo waiting."

"We don't know when he wakes up is all I mean. But we can wait by that stall he was using, yeah. Buy some food first. I'm hungry."

They are still really surprised by how good food tastes when it's been cooked.

"So! In exchange for having me along for the trip we can use my sail for the duration, but I keep it when we're done. If you don't like that I found someone who needs money more than his sail. It'd be two hundred."

"I don't think we need a sail forever. You can come."

"IF! You give Tabby and Zeke some money to make up for tricking them on the price of the fish."

"Oh, is that your condition?"

"Yup."

"Fine, fine. A hundred fifty more, that brings you to, oh, five or six per pound, close to what you would have got with someone else."

"Cool, so, are your parents okay with you going with us?"

"Not that we care much."

"Best not to tell them that I'm leaving, I thought. I left a letter, explaining."

"So, let's get this sail rigged up."

"You have a bad mom and dad?"

"Yup."
