The twins grumble that they could've, once.

"Perhaps. But we'll never know, will we?"

She giggles. "Least these two can't outswim us," she says, pointing her thumb and Gren and Nemo.

"Yes, well, when you're superhuman in most ways these things happen don't they?"

"True."

"So it's only impressive if you beat each other at things."

And now they're seeing who can jump higher and swim faster.

"Hey don't shake the boat too much! And try not to slow us down, we've got kidnapped people to save."

"It will take a while," muses Red Lions. "A week, certainly. Dallying will not do, of course, but it's not as if every single moment is crucial."

Turns out Tabitha can jump higher, by the way.

Nemo starts a game of checkers with Gren. And bets 5 rupees on the outcome.

The twins watch passively.

Nemo keeps trying to distract Gren. Jokes, silly things, pointless conversation. It doesn't really work, apparently, since Gren wins anyway. (Nemo pays up.)

The twins clap.

"Thanks! There isn't too much room out here but at least we're going fast, right? I wonder what the place we're heading to is like."

"Isn't it where the post man is from?"

"The Rito Tribe dwells there, and they deliver mail all over the Great Sea, yes."

"And they have a dragon that makes them have wings, right?"

"It's a bit more complicated than that- But essentially, yes."

"I wonder if our postman will be there when we arrive."

"They told me they spend about a third of the time flying around, and the rest at home. Not counting sleeping. So odds are good he will."

"Flying must be fun."

"Yeah, it probably is. The catapult and leaf-gliding was really fun once I got over being afraid of going splat."

The rest of the jaunt to Dragon Isle is pretty pleasant. 

Eventually it comes up on the horizon. 

"Wow, that's a really big tower. And... Is that an ash cloud?"

"I think that's called a volcano!"
