There's a genre of fiction that is basically 'this but the good guys win way more frequently and they elide completely over property damage and civilian casualties and stuff' starring characters named things like Superman and Wonder Woman."

"Well, the quality varies widely - there were a bunch of movies in the genre in the early twenty-first and again in the early twenty-second centuries, might be a better introduction than trying to disentangle a comics continuity - if you're curious."

Reading reading reading "I can't find any references to what Sleeper actually does" reading reading "I wonder if I can make Tinker tech" he tries it he can't "I wonder if it counts as magic or what" reading.

"Probably counts as magic. That's a shame, some of this stuff is good."

"No kidding, even if we had to go off the shelf as it were..."

And when they're tired of reading - "alright, how does Squirrel Girl save Earth's moon."

"This is actually a kid's movie, the ones intended for adult audiences do less of the cute thing -" And he puts on Squirrel Girl Saves The Moon. Squirrel Girl's power set is completely inadequate to saving the moon but she tries really hard and gets help and does it anyway!

It's a cute movie. 

Cam's kind of distracting. He's not doing anything, but his existence is distracting.

Cam is wagging his tail at the funny bits of the movie and smirking at the outdated special effects, is that "doing anything"?

It is really really distracting! He's probably staring at Cam noticeable amounts!

"Hm?" Cam asks, when he catches him at it.

"I was kind of expecting it to stick better."

"If I am going to continually develop a crush on you and then need a breather to get rid of it at some point that is going to get really old."

"...Sorry?" says Cam uncertainly.

"Not your fault. Would you prefer I stop mentioning it."
