Temple is surprised enough that he drops the cards. "Uh, hi?"

She stops the dancing to offer a curtsy.

"Uh, were you like... trapped in the card or something?" Temple tugs Sadde because he is a bit overwhelmed.

She smiles and shakes her head.

"...sheeeee looks an awful lot like the drawing that was on the card actually um are you the card?"

She nods.

Temple tries a reassuring smile. "So, your name is Flower? Uh, are you feeling alright? I am not sure how long you were in there." Temple points at the hole in the ground.

She nods, and starts swaying a little bit to nonexistent music and summoning more flowers.

Okay, good so far. "Is each one of those cards like you?"

She tilts her head.

"I mean... I get they are different, but are they beings like you?"

She continues not seeming to understand him.

"I don't think you're understanding me, but that is okay. I might try another card next, if that sounds like a bad idea to you. Do tell us now." Then Temple turns to Sadde. "Do you want to pick a card?"

"Yeees," he says, and starts going through the cards and—" Okay, this looks like a me card." He reveals the card he picked: The Change.

"Ooooh, let's try that!"

"Okay, let's see if this can do what I want it to, Change, turn me into a girl!"

The card glows, then disappears and makes Sadde himself glow—

—and it works!

"Ha! Can I keep this one?"

Temple looks hi-her up and down and smiles. "Of course!" He looks over the deck, discards some of the more dangerous-looking cards (specially The Erase, he might lock that one up if it is not cruel to the poor thing)... "Oh, going to try this one. The Windy! Crea-"

Nope.

The card glows in his hand, and a strong gust of wind centred on the pair of them and going up appears out of nowhere, and all the cards start going off in different random directions.

The hell? He tries grabbing the cards before they fly away.

As does Sadde! The Change seems to be safely around his body, so it isn't affected, but he manages to grab The Shield and The Through, while Temple succeeds at rescuing The Glow, The Jump, and The Twin from the storm.

And then it ends and the other cards are gone.

Temple holds the cards tightly in his hand. He looks down and then decides better than announce which cards he got while holding them and just says. "What the hell?!"

Sadde—

—shapeshifts back. "I second that sentiment." He looks at the Flower, whose flowers were all scattered with the cards. "Do you know what that was about?"

She shakes her head.
