"Yeah, actually. It took quite a bit of effort to make it look right."

"I'm sure it did," she says. "Again: care to explain?"

"Mm… nah," he says in response, frowning a bit pensively. "You might be able to help with something, though."

"Oh?" she asks.

… Then she feels like perhaps she should revise her statement to include a bit more trepidation.

"Mm."

"Is this something by any chance related to you having a secret twin?"

Thar smirks. "Not quite? I can see why you might think that, though."

"… It's not related or you don't have a twin?" she asks.

"Hmm." He thinks for a few moments, then responds, "A bit of both?"

"So what's this idea, then?"

"Well," he starts, putting his head on his arm, "Mainly it's that I'd like to take over the world."

She smirks a bit, then looks at him some more.

"… And why do you want to take over the world? Any particular reason, or just dreams of having a bunch of slaves?"

"Hmm," says Thar, seeming to think. "You know, the idea of having slaves has never really appealed to me that much."

"That doesn't answer my question," responds Rashel.

Bad feelings. Bad feelings abound.

"No," he says. "It doesn't, does it?"

Meanwhile, PSHE has just about finished. It's now lunch.

You okay? Kay texts when Rashel is obviously going to be late for lunch.

… It takes a few minutes, but there is indeed a response from Rashel's phone! It reads: Yeah.

"How is she?" asks Ev of Kay somewhat absently.

Okay, Ev. You are cute, so I am not going to say anything about you reading other's people text messages.

"She says she is okay."

Cool. Decided to skip PSHE and lunch? Is Thar being a bad influence on you?

Oh, c'mon, he didn't read the text message or he would've known that she says she's fine. Besides, he'd be sneaky about it if he indeed did read your text message.

But anyway, he nods and turns back to the other people at the table to continue the conversation, seeming less worried.

There's no immediate response to the text message!

Kay isn't all that worried, since Rashel already messaged back confirming she was okay.

… Well, not so wonderful for Rashel, who is currently panicking. Her bad feeling is getting worse, she knows she doesn't have her phone on her, and she's worried about when she lost it because she doesn't remember it disappearing. She's sitting at the table opposite Thar, or Thar's twin, or whatever, and she doesn't think he took her phone, and she doesn't know why he would, but apparently he did.
