"Nah, not really – mostly just stayed at home over the weekend."

"How about you, Rashel?"

Rashel looks at Thar – stayed at home, sure, okay – but replies, "I had a look at the textiles museum with my mom."

And then the bell goes! Morning lessons will proceed as usual: government, history, various sciences.

Yay.

(No, not really)

But then! Then they have lunch.

And Thar walks over to Ev and takes a seat, smiling.

Of course he does.

"Feeling better?" asks Ev.

"Yep," says Thar. "I'm fine."

After a couple of minutes, an altercation seems to start at a nearby table. Apparently somebody didn't take too kindly to being asked how they were a few times too many.

Getting up from his seat, a skinny Thamar (skinny for a Thamar, at least) tells someone across from him right where they can shove it, flicking their drink at the slightly-stunned blue-haired Luna.

The Luna, of course, doesn't take too kindly to this. She phosses him – appears some lumen around bits of his skin – which seems to anger him, leading him to fling his whole tray at her. The food scatters everywhere, bits of it landing on her.

They seem to be causing quite a scene.

Urgh. Drama.

(At this point security is going to intervene anyway, so Krian will just pay attention and get out of the way if necessary.)

Ev sighs and turns around to look at the scene – this sort of thing isn't particularly common, but when you've got a lot of teenagers in a small space, you're bound to have it happen some time—

Then he sees the Thamar and his train of thought seems to stall a bit.

Thar looks over likewise, seeming mostly unconcerned.

The Luna shoves her tray back over in the Thamar's direction and gets up from her chair, phossing him again, this time somewhat more aggressively. The Thamar grabs a fork from where it lands and throws it at her, causing her to pull her arm out of the way and shout at him some more.

A supervisor seems to be talking into a walkie-talkie, alerting other members of staff to the scenario, and starts to make his way over to the table, preparing to deal with the situation.

It seems to be getting a bit windy in here.

"Don't get too amused, Kay."

Kay is sort of distracted by the wind. "Huh? Oh, why do you have to spoil my fun."

The wind is definitely wind. It's rather weird, really; even with the windows open, the cafeteria doesn't seem like it should probably get this much wind.

The fight carries on regardless. The Luna moves towards the end of the table, other people trying to get out of the way of the line of fire, while the Thamar glares daggers at her and follows.

There's a trash can at the end of the table, which he shoves into her, causing her to fall to the ground. Lots of specks of lumen are appearing around them in various colors, making it somewhat confusing to actually watch, and he starts to move to attack her again just as the supervisor arrives to halt his movement.

Boy is it windy in here.

Ev seems to have resumed normal activity, at least mostly, but he's now looking at the Thamar with worry.

For once Kay is distracted from a fight. This weird is really weird. Where is coming from? Maybe the sky is cloudy and it'll be stormy later?

He can't really see the sky from where he is – the windows don't give much angle of viewing, he's too central in the cafeteria, there are too many tall buildings around. It looks mostly sunny, though, not dark or dingy as one might expect if it were likely to be stormy.

The wind itself seems to be mostly coming from the windows and going through the cafeteria, as one would expect. It's just wind.

Seeming angered by the supervisor trying to stop him, the Thamar tries to move around him to get at the Luna, but then a couple more supervisors rush into the cafeteria and over to him. When he notices this, his anger mostly seems to dissipate, and he eventually goes with the two new arrivals willingly.

The Luna gets up off the floor, is asked about what happened by the remaining supervisor, and then she leaves the cafeteria, presumably to get cleaned up, while someone else comes over to clean up the mess.

The wind seems to be slowly calming now. Freak temporary gusts: how curious.

Ev seems a little concerned, but decides there's nothing he can do about it, so he turns back to his table and says, "That was weird."

"That wind was weird."

For a moment Krian thinks he misheard it then answers that statement with a puzzled look.

"Yeah. Both the fight and the wind were weird."

Thar seems to agree.
