"Huh. Okay. That's. Wow. Huh." Guenhwyvar can get pats while Zam processes. There's a lot to process.

Zam can take his time to process. Guen is happy. 

After a while:

"So, you showed this to Mapicc and Ro, and then... do you just have infinite spawn eggs? How many Guenhwyvars are there? Or does she, like, disappear, can she go--back into being an egg somehow?"

"The egg will come back after some time. She can only be out for half a day out of every two days."

"Huh. Can she--do things? Or is she just, like, a fancy pet?" It feels rude to ask, but it's important. If he doesn't ask this now he will regret it.

"She is a skilled hunter." He sounds very affectionate.

Great! Great. Cool cool cool cool cool. He can freak out about that… Later. Not now. 

“That’s cool.” His voice is not entirely chill, but it’s mostly chill. Within the bounds of normal Zam anxiety.

"My life would be somewhat easier if she didn't have to stay secret."

"Oh. Ummmmmmmmm. I--don't actually have the power to do that? You could talk to Parrot, I guess? I'm not the admin, I don't actually decide what the rules are."

This is actually a fairly easy one to answer, because it's true, Zam doesn't have any power here. It's kind of relieving to remember, actually.

"I don't expect you to do anything about it. I've been told not to tell Parrot, though."

"Yeah, I mean--Parrot is the only one who can, um, either ban you or not ban you? For this? And so if you want to make sure you can keep her then you should keep it a secret from Parrot, because Parrot can't do anything if he doesn't know, but no one else can really....make it be fine for it to not be a secret....if that makes sense...?"

It is also probably better that she's a secret because if she wasn't a secret--no, Zam's not thinking about this. Drizzt trusted him with this.

Drizzt leans over to ruffle her coat. "Thanks for telling me."

"Yeah, I mean--yeah, um, no problem? Anytime."

"... is there anything else I should know not to do so I don't get banned?"

"Ummmmm it's mostly just exploiting? So, like, hack clients, anything you can't get in vanilla survival. I dunno if backdooring would get you banned but I wouldn't test it. Um. No using end crystals in fights? No raid farms." Mapicc has a raid farm but Parrot doesn't know about it and anyway Mapicc's only using it for emeralds to trade for redstone for his world record thing he's doing.

"...I don't think I'm doing any of those things?"

"I mean, you're, um, you're definitely--you're definitely exploiting? This is not--this is definitely not something that everyone can get in vanilla survival. But, um, other than that, yeah, I think probably you're fine?"

"I didn't--choose to do this. It just happened."

Zam's head bobs up and down in a nod. "Huh. Yeah. I don't--I don't know why that would happen? I mean, could be Parrot is doing this to you, but you--seem like you know Guenhwyvar? I don't know, man."

"Guenhwyvar was with me before I came here."

"Yeah, so, probably not Parrot." Shrug. Zam focuses on petting Guenhwyvar, because this is--something to do that is not having this conversation.

Fair enough. Drizzt doesn't like this conversation. 

He is also petting Guenhwyvar.

YES. MORE HANDS.

Guenhwyvar is nice. Guenhwyvar is nice and Drizzt is nice and Zam just--focuses on that. They're nice to him and they trust him and he can't just--betray that trust. Mapicc has a raid farm. Zam still has some of Terrain's duped hearts in his enderchest. Drizzt didn't even do it on purpose like everyone else did, and he hasn't--used it, hasn't gotten Guenhwyvar to hunt anyone down. As far as Zam knows, the only thing he's done is pet her for half a day out of every two days, and Zam is also petting her right this very moment. Zam was awful to Drizzt and Drizzt repaid that by calling Zam his friend and saying that he trusted Zam. So--Zam pets Guenhwyvar, and it's easy to love her a little bit. 

"She's nice," Zam offers after a while. "And--thank you again. For showing me. You--didn't have to do that."

"It didn't seem fair if Ro and Mapicc knew and you didn't."
