"They're interested in more spell forms, and a better version of the light form; that's not something I can get on my own, and I don't know what we'd need to do exactly, but if you want to try it I can look into it."

"The agreement only said as much magic as the Jedi know. I will leave it to your discretion."

"...I thought if you learned more I'd have to teach them that, too. If not - I'm interested in more spell forms, and I can't get them by myself except the ones the other kobolds have."

"If it's something you would have done anyway, that's another matter. Our alliance has just not yet made us such good friends that giving Occlus more magic is something I would have proposed."

Nod. "I wasn't planning on getting more spell forms, but it's come up with my class a little bit, too. The complication is that I'd have to bring someone to my world, and I wouldn't be able to be very much help to them while they were there - I wouldn't expect to be allowed into a human or dwarf town even with someone supposedly in control of me, and I'm not that good at sneaking around. But it is a possibility, anyway, whatever you want to do with it."

"What other sorts of spell forms are available?"

"Elves have light, better than mine, and fire and water-creation and plant-shaping, but they're dangerous. Tigerfolk sometimes have something that seems to enhance strength; I don't know how that works, and anyway it'd be tricky to find a mage to teach it. Goblins have - or had, the goblin I know has been living with a kobold tribe for the last hundred and fifty years or so - healing and sound-generation, but their culture is pretty awful, you might not want to work with them. And from what I've heard, dwarves have a heat form and a form that lets them reshape things, and humans have water-creation and healing and light and something that lets them affect the weather. And from the kobolds, there's a spell form that makes you invisible to my kind of magic - all kobolds are spellbearers for that effect, but I don't have the form yet and I'm not sharing it with Occlus any time soon if I get it- and there's a poison-detection form that I might be able to talk that one mage into sharing with me. And I'm sure I don't know everything we might be able to get; a lot of mages who find new magic don't share it very widely."

"Some of those sound very useful. I will see about planning an expedition."

Cool. She has to cast the spells from the other side, so all she does is trance, there.

Satele can come watch her work if she'd like, but the kobold doesn't expect that to be particularly the case.

Satele can have a hug before the kobold goes, then.

An hour and a half later, she turns up at the new field.

The game is in full swing. All three rings are being utilized, to dizzying effect.

Raafi is watching intently. The kobold slips in next to him, careful not to interrupt.

Athletics: happen!

Ana is very good at this game, but so are the other Jedi. The score is tied right up until the very end, but Ana's team manages a spectacular play that sends the ball between circles seven times in four seconds to score the game-winning point.

Raafi and the kobold join in the cheering!

The two teams shake hands, then troop off to clean up. Afterwards, there will be cake!

Then Ana will meet them in the cafeteria! With cake!
