"It's a fortunate twist."

Hum. "A good opportunity to take advantage of." Her tone is maybe teasing.

"As expected of a Sith."

"I was reaching for every advantage I could get long before Plagueis set his eyes on me."

"Politician, then."

...Hum.

"Other than the political service expected of all children from Naboo's royal houses - I didn't really consider myself a politician or have any political ambitions until after Plagueis - convinced me I should."

Hum.

...Sigh. 

"I should at some point explain - more about Plagueis..."

"Get some rest first," Elesse advises.

Tiny grumble. Then, sigh, and: "I'm planning to."

"I'm sure you'll feel better for it."

"Sure."

Elesse is going to go sit down with Anakin, then.

She pauses for a long moment, watching them - 

Then turns and leaves. 

Elesse amuses herself making faces at Anakin.

She doesn't seem able to really see very well just yet, but she's responding in the Force to Elesse's presence and warmth. 

(And then there's a tiny murmur in the Force...)

And Anakin starts fussing!

"Oh no, no, don't cry. Please don't cry, Anakin."

Noooo she wants to cry! Upsetting things are happening! 

(But there's something - desyncing, almost, Anakin's Force signature calming down even as the baby remains fussy, a controlled edge to it - )

...Wait. She squints at the baby.

Looks over to where she can- almost see the shape of a sitting girl.

"Who are you?"

" - You can see me?" 

Her voice is distant, strange. 

"Not- exactly." This... ghost feels strange in the Force. Just slightly skew from normal. "You're not from here."

"I'm not."

The ghost's voice - the echo of her in the Force - shakes.

"I - I was in the crystal caves, on Ilum, and I picked up the crystal for my lightsaber, and - I've been seeing other me's, but not normal visions - "
