"I have no idea—well, no, that is a lie, I do know where bracelets come from, but there are not any spares lying around as far as I know. They disappear when someone dies, usually, but in our case they reform on our new bodies."

"Ah, it is a long-term plan and priority depends on the numbers of mes we have around."

"Dude, I know that you and Gabe have this whole Dom and Sub thing going on. But you really have to remember other people can be responsible. Sure, I am absolutely thinking about riding Sendhei's dick. But I can still contribute besides being hot."

Taharqi grins. "To answer your earlier question, the observation I have made is that I have seen other exiles die and they did not seem to respawn," he tells Thomas.

Thomas grins back. "That was also on my mind," he tells Sendhei, then to Taharqi: "Well, that sucks. Do the bracelets look different? Could be a model or something. But duplicating magical things and figuring out how they work is something the crystals can do."

He raises his hands.

"It is an advanced technique. But even if you want to pick it up, it would be worth having a Henry to do complementary research."

"They are all as far as I can tell identical," he replies to Thomas. "I... should probably have asked the ghost of the Archivist about this. It's one of the giant-kings who helped create them, thousands of years ago."

"Oh, too bad."

"Even if he is not available we can still figure out things on our own. And... well, that," he points, "is a person-replication crystal. Even if it stopped producing endless copies of us, it's still a good base material for something."

"Oh he's available, it's just a pain to get to him. ...well, less of a pain with the map-room back home, but right now I think I want to chill on the 'dying' thing."

"Oh, don't worry. We are kind of thinking way waaay ahead here. We should be more focused on shelter, non-crystal food sources, general security and stability."

"See with whom we can share our technological and magical marvels with? Or at least tell people to keep their latrines away from water sources."

    "Wait, but orgy—" starts Sendhei.

"That can wait." (Pout.) "I still have meat to last us a couple of days, and it should not be difficult to get more, even if panther meat is not the nicest. Maybe Sendhei could fetch us some dried elk king meat." (Grumble grumble grumble.)

Thomas pats Sendhei on the shoulder.  "We will get there buddy."

Henry covers Gabe's mouth.

"Is that time estimation counting our help? There ought to be ways to speed up the process. Or at least create a few amenities, like self-generating water crystals, lights, fans... of the self-moving kind."

"...fans? Like, big paper... things... that you wave at people for wind?"

"Same function different form. You just leave it somewhere convenient and the blades - not actual blades, that is just the term - spin and move the air. No need for people to wave them manually."

"For that we will need a solar panel, but we should do that anyway. And we could create ice generating crystals for water and turn the fans into air conditioning."

"Our not magic does not-magic things that move," Gabe says to the apparently confused barbarian. "We have sex toys that vibrate."

"—okay that might take more than a day but it also sounds, ah... unnecessary."
