Well, even if some people are not willing to indulge a complete stranger after being possessed by the artifact of unspeakable evil, Thomas and Taharqi can have fun. They take some shots with the battleground behind them, some close-ups of the statues. He gets Taharqi to pose "heroically" at least once, weapon brandished, one foot on the ground, the other stepping on a statue's head.

This day is going... weirdly.

"Okay, I think we have enough to show to the guys. Do you have anything pending to do here?" Thomas asks them both.

"No."

"Nope! Out we go."

Out they go on their merry way.

Well, merry filled-with-sneaky-around-apes way.

"You know they are not very hard to kill," says Razma when they are sufficiently sneaked to be able to talk.

"Yes but they look far too much like people for me to want to do that as a first resort."

"...and you care about that. Okay."

"He is such a sweetheart. Not slaughtering his way through his problems."

"I take it you're new to the Exiled Lands."

"Yes, I am. Do you have touristic recommendations?"

"Yes: stay away from everyone else."

"Noted. I haven't had the pleasure to interact with that many people anyway."

"Your crazy friend here will be giving you the wrong idea on how... friendly... people can get."

"Or the right idea."

"The right wrong idea," Thomas pronounces is sagely tones, "but thanks for the warning."

She rolls her eyes but doesn't pursue that line of conversation any further.

Thomas isn't going to push it, beyond trying to look as aggressively friendly as he can be while sneaking around bands of gorillas.
