They can get settled in Savil's apartment - Deskyl really does need to arrange for Van to have more furniture. :So, about the hibernation - it's really important that I not be disturbed during it. It's designed for use in combat conditions, where it's not safe to be as vulnerable as it makes us; it won't be easy enough to wake me that it could happen by accident, but if I am woken, I won't know where I am or what's happening and I'll assume I'm being attacked.:

"That's very good to know. Designed for use in... What is the usual use for it that would come up in combat conditions?" 

:It's not actually used that commonly; the typical case is something like getting injured in a battle where the rest of your support is lost and needing to hide until the enemy is gone and then survive on your own until you can make it back to civilization. - you're probably underestimating the scale of things, we have much better transportation which means we're in much more trouble if we lose it, an hour's ride on a speeder can be several days' walk and it gets worse from there.:

"Huh! I guess the most comparable thing we have is Gates, which, it does come up sometimes that you Gate somewhere and then get hurt and can't Gate back, but there are only a few people in Valdemar who can Gate at all." 

She nods. :Our transportation is tech-based, all of it - we have communication technology, too, getting lost somewhere doesn't necessarily mean being out of contact, but in the wrong context that could lead an enemy right to you. So we have other options. Anyway, like I said, it shouldn't come up - I'll be fine in normal sleeping conditions; shouting might wake me if there's much of it and being touched definitely will but I really don't expect it to be an issue, I mostly want to make sure that if my droid tells you I can't be disturbed you know how serious it is. If you do need to wake me - there really isn't a safe way to do it, but if you have to, you'll want the area around me to be as quiet as you can get it for a candlemark or two beforehand if you can, and have my droid do it, and keep everyone else back at least a few rooms and ideally any strong mages back a little farther than that and not clustered - the first thing I'll do if something wakes me is look for a threat, you want to make sure it doesn't look like there is one.:

"That's good to know. I can do magical soundproofing on your guest room so that even if someone does decide to have a shouting match in the hallway it won't be an issue? Er, I can't actually think of any circumstances where we'd need to wake you. Is there some scenario in particular you're worried about, there?" 

:No, I just don't want anyone to get hurt if something unexpected happens. The soundproofing is a good idea; that should speed it up a little, too.:

"Huh! Well, that's good to know. And we'll make sure to be very cautious, no one will come in unless DZ sticks her head out and calls for help or something, we can make a sign for the door to make sure no one tries to clean..." 

She nods. :I don't actually mind if your Healers want to have a look while I'm under, they just need to be able to do it quietly from across the room - the technique is designed to be used in situations where there are other people around, they'd just be people who are used to how touchy Sith can be.:

"Got it. Will there be something particularly interesting for them to see? I confess I’m not sure at all how this process works to accelerate healing."

:I expect there'll be something. I'm actually fairly curious what they'll find if they look; I don't have a good sense of what your Healers can see or what was done to me.:

"That makes a lot of sense. I'll make sure that gets passed on - hmm, I can Mindspeak Andy about it right now..."
