It'll go quickly, then, for the amount of stuff it is; Deskyl can bring all the heaviest things out and load them right onto the cart. When she's done, she wanders back through the vegetable gardens toward the main part of town.

Some people wave to her, but Herald Tantras is the only one to actually wander over when he sees her. "Heya! How are you?" 

:Pretty good! Coming back from checking out the house I'll probably be moving into. How've you been?:

"Good! It's been really nice seeing DZ around in the library." 

:That's good to hear. Have you been talking to her much?:

"I mean, I've been trying not to annoy her too much when she's busy."

:Ah.: She seems a little amused, and fond. :I don't think she's realized she seems that way - or, not realized that she could do anything else. She does like talking about what she reads.:

"That's good to know, because I always find what she has to say interesting!" 

"Aw." :Anything good?:

Tran can tell her about DZ relating what she'd been reading on Valdemar's early political history, in a way that she maybe didn't realize counted as her opinion but that he found surprising insightful. 

Awwwwwww. :I'll have to put that on the list with poetry - it's pretty easy to get her talking about poetry, compared to other things. Some of that's practice but she likes it, too.:

"Should I encourage her to talk about it more, if it's not an annoyance or wasting her time? I wouldn't mind." 

:I think it'd be good for her, yeah. And if you ever do manage to annoy her I'll be pretty amazed.:

"Is she a pretty patient person, huh?" 

:It's a species trait, insofar as species is the right word. Servant droids don't get bored, or impatient, or anything like that. At least not that I've ever seen.:

"Sounds...useful for some things and honestly kind of a handicap for others. Does she get, er, taken advantage of by people much?" 

:It hasn't been a problem, but I guess it hasn't had much chance to. She does know that she doesn't have to take orders from anyone else, that should help.:

Nod. "I'll keep an eye out for her, then. Anyway I'd better get back to my work. Nice to see you!" He heads off. 

And Deskyl continues on her way.

No one else interrupts her. 

It's getting close to dinnertime; there's not much point in going home when she's going to come right back out again. She checks what Van is doing.

Right now he is just finishing up a ride with Yfandes. 

She can make a pretty good guess about where to go to catch him on his way to dinner. She gives Savil a heads up that she's back, on the way, so as not to risk DZ getting sent all the way out to the new house.

:Wow - done already?: Savil answers. :I’ve showed DZ the options for furniture, and how to requisition it, but plumbing ought to happen first. I’ve organized for some builders to be in tomorrow:
