Sounds good. He will keep practicing! 

They can get occupied like this the entire afternoon.

At some point Alex wanders in as well, humming a bit, before quieting down to join the lesson.

Temple is glad to teach both of them.

Morgan eventually swings by to bring a snack and tell that Henry and Gabe should be coming tomorrow to meet them.

Jamie will have a snack, sure. 

Alex continues to appreciate Morgan's priorities. 

"The cousins, right?" 

"Yeah. I mean, I think you and us and Henry are all sets of cousins, but Gabe is Henry's cousin and not ours."

"Yeah, that's what I meant. Though, I couldn't tell you how all that 'third cousin twice removed' stuff works, so I guess 'cousins' works for the rest of us, too." 

"Be fun to meet more people," Jamie adds between bites. "You think Aaron will be up to teaching some stuff tomorrow, before we have to go? To Alex, I mean, I'll just watch." He'd forgotten to ask before they finished eating earlier.

"Ah, pretty sure. Warn him to not wake you up at the crack of dawn."

He shrugs, "We can get up at dawn, sometimes." Maybe not tonight, though. They didn't get a lot of sleep last night, and he probably won't be waking them up with nightmares in the early morning, either. They might actually sleep in. He nods, "We'll ask him not to." 

Aaron promises to wait until a later date to wake them up at dawn. One can't acquire a sergeant costume that fast.

What, he doesn't have one already? With all these younger siblings? 

A lapse of judgement, but he does have that wake up call. He plays it on his phone.

He laughs, "I'm sure you've only ever used this power for good!" 

"Of course, but, sometimes one must sacrifice things for the greater good. Like his siblings' rest."

Alex shakes his head, smiling slightly, "We'll see you in the morning, then," he tells Aaron. 

"See you in the morning then."

They can settle in for the night then.

Felix is very happy with his moondog drawing and hugs James in thanks.

Hugs! Yay! Jamie's always happy to have his drawings received well.

And then to bed. The twins say their good nights, and retreat to the bedroom they're using, making use of the attached bathroom to prepare for bed. Then they crawl under the covers and curl together, talking quietly about the day until they fall asleep. 

No one wakes them up in the morning, with or without old stock music. Breakfast is prepared.

Then they don't wake at the crack of dawn! It's still pretty early when they come down to breakfast, though, Jamie first with sketchpad in hand, Alex a few moments later, hair still a bit wet from the shower. 

"Morning, Morgan," Jamie greets, setting his sketchpad on the table while he takes a look at what's for breakfast.

"Thanks for making breakfast," Alex adds quietly. 

"Morning you two. Sleep well?" He says giving them a glance and then returning to the eggs he is preparing. "And you're welcome."
