"I mean art, yeah. Stone carving? Or, like, clay and such? I did some basic sculpture stuff while I was still in school, but that gets pretty expensive, and I like painting better. For music, well, Alex is the musician, but I sing for him sometimes." The moondog gains a rough snowy backdrop to romp around in and the outline of a planet in the sky. He's hardly looking at it, though, attention mostly on Sawney.

Sawney keeps being impressed with his talent. "Stone, with the right magic you can work on nearly any material like clay though. And I tried a few other materials, like stuff from a junkyard."

"Oo, you could, couldn't you? And found sculpture is fun! I didn't do much of that, but there was a unit on it. I never really got very into three-dimensional art -  I figure it's a whole other skill-set than 2D stuff, besides learning to really look at things." The moondog gains moondog friends. Wouldn't want it to be lonely!

"Reshaping things, coloring things, fixing glass that you broke mid process. And I am still learning how to look, yeah. When did you learn about moondogs? I don't think Earth has then."

"There were some kids making them when we passed through Elan on the way here. Felix explained the legend to us." He looks down at the drawing, adding some stars and smaller details, before tapping his pencil over the outline of Elan. "Hm, do you know what Elan's continents look like?"

"I do. I probably have a map around here, but..." he picks up another pencil and paper and sketches the Elan's continental masses inside two distinct circles.

"Thanks!" He watches, eventually picking the continents in the second circle to add to the moondog sketch. "Hm, I think it's done," he decides once he's done that. "Maybe I'll give it to Felix." He looks through the five sketches, making a face at the one of Franklyn in water, and then stacking them up. "Do you have a particular system for storing your pencils?" He asks, offering the one he was using. His art supplies aren't very organized, but this isn't his art room, and he doesn't want to mess anything up.

"I do. But I am trying to be more flexible about it."

He pushes the pencil across the table as to make a point he can leave things disorganized.

Then he immediately picks it up and puts it in the correct place.

Topher snorts. "I am sure Felix will appreciate that."

Cute. "It's good that you're trying? I can try to follow your system, too, though."

"I figure he won't mind, anyway," he adds to Topher, laughing a little.

"I mean, he will definitely be happy about it. And I am sure Franklyn would appreciate knowing you drew him-" blink. "He is already naked? That was fast."

"What, does he usually pace himself?" He asks, laughing, "We did go swimming, if that makes his speed make more sense. And I definitely don't mind."

"Oh, fair." Topher says maybe noting some dampness in James' hair.

It's a little bit damp, still, yeah. He runs a hand through it.

"I guess I should go ask Temple about magic lessons, I did say I'd be back," he says. "Thanks again," he tells Sawney.

"Any time."

"I'll take you up on that!"

He ducks back out into the library, papers in hand. Is Temple still at the computer?

Temple is. "Hey, had fun?"

"Yeah! Drew some stuff. Sawney and Topher are great." He shows him some of the sketches - all of them except the one of Alex.

"Ooh, nice. Ooh. Oooh, I like what did to my face."

He giggles, "I didn't do anything to your face but capture what was already there. You're really something when you're talking about magic, you know."

"I am truly am. Do you want to witness another example?"

"Yeah, if you don't mind. That's why I came looking originally. More magic lessons!"

More magic lessons! Temple is delighted.

Jamie is delighted to watch him be delighted! He's also paying attention, though. More breathing exercises, or something else?

Mostly breathing, though he can cycle through what it feels to have been given stamina, wakefulness and health. It's easier to master breath first and then you can branch of off that.
