"--I'm going to wind up going to college somewhere outside of NYC," Lev says eventually.

"I'm pretty sure I'm not going to go to college at all, so I'll be able to visit." 

"You could come live with me if you wanted."

"I think if I keep being Spiderman it makes more sense to stay in the city, if I'm a couple hours out then my reaction time's too slow for me to do much good and I won't hear as much of what's going on — I guess I could stop, but like, could I really?" 

"I could try to apply to places that are also in cities? I know New York is Superhero Central but there's ever superhero stuff in Boston or Washington D.C. or San Francisco."

"Maybe. — my thing wouldn't work at all in D.C., the skyline's too low, and I want you to go to a school you want to go to and not a school you don't love but I can superhero from? I'll visit no matter where you go." 

"...okay, let me put it a different way. I love you and I would really miss you if you were far away and it would make me completely miserable, what do I have to do to get that not to happen?"

"We can look at schools in cities." He leans over and kisses Lev on the cheek. "And I'll think about whether I can feasibly put down Spidermanning for a few years." 

"I can apply to all the schools in New York. Or, I don't know, work for SHIELD and audit classes or something."

"And if I moved and put down the superheroics it would just look like I'd died or retired, nobody who didn't already know I'd moved would come looking for me there — and SHIELD exists, I wouldn't come back to a smoldering New York, superheroes do die and retire and it's fine — or you could go to school here. We have options." 

"I love you!"

Asher wanders out, notices Sasha, and says, "...is it a weekend?"

"It's a Tuesday. I'm skipping school because Lev can teach chemistry better than my teacher can, or at least he can teach it better to me. Good morning." 

"Morning. I'd offer to help but I am abominably awful at tutoring."

"You should come over here and hug me." 

Asher does! He picks up Sasha and kisses him.

"I love you."

"Cute."

"Oh, no, you've unlocked my secret. Now you're going to tell everyone and no one is ever going to take me seriously at Avengers meetings ever again."

"I'm pretty sure Natasha already threatens to throw you out of windows if you're sappy in the group chat." 

"--oh, man, Marlo's going to make the judgmental face. I hate the judgmental face."

"I bet I can talk him around. Failing that Z can definitely talk him around, I'm pretty sure Z could talk him into anything."
