"I'll tell her. Hopefully the twins haven't died at her hands yet, I don't need a bigger mess."

She heads out.

Has the shadowing pigeon noticed Blake being involved in any altercations?

She seems to be working on a lesson plan, currently.

Other than that, it's been coffee and some Netflix.

Right. Any suspicious activity in the neighborhood?

Not really. It looks like no one unusually wolfish has passed through.

The pigeon will stay alert for any signs of trouble.

None, actually.

It looks like there was some internal disagreement in the alpha pack.

That is probably a good thing.

The pigeon stays on alert.

Ms. Blake stands by her window, waiting.

Ms. Morrell arrives, knocking on her door.

Inconspicuous pigeon eavesdropping.

"Deucalion is alive, but he might not be for long. Had a good night?"

"I wasn't, but I think you know how I feel now."

"Try not dance on my packmate's grave."

"Packmate, huh? Impressive mental contortions there."

"You've been here, all night?"

"Yeah, why?"

"I'm surprised none of them tried to kill you, that's all. Have a good night."

"Good night. I hope I see you in school tomorrow."

"Do you hope that? It was nice seeing you again, Jennifer. Give my regards to Julia."

She heads out.

Ellayania sends the pigeon to follow Morrell, rather than maintain vigil on Blake.

Morrell can be found parking her car outside a perfectly ordinary suburban home.

The pigeon is welcome to stay the night, but Ellyayania doesn't see anything.

Well and good.

How is her subterranean guest faring?

He talked to the earth for the first hour, about his life.

He suspected the goddess wouldn't be listening, so he rambled on a bit.

Now he's staying quiet and staring at the wall, though.

She was paying attention, if a bit half-heartedly. Did he say anything useful?
