"I'll start dinner."

He gets to it. Looks like they're having lasagna.

"Did you kill them?"

"Just Deucalion."

Lasagna it is.

They make small talk.

Lasagna! Pascale approves of lasagna.

Small talk is good, too.

Isaac is telling a charming anecdote about how his friend Boyd scared a man into giving them the keys to his car.

McCalls look variously disturbed, but say nothing.

"What about you Pascale, any good stories?"

Well, there was that one time an unfortunate homophone between two commonly spoken languages caused a bit of a misunderstanding at the fish market one day.

"...and it turned out the net had been in the bottom of the barrel all along!"

"Do you think Ellayania can get you home?"

Pascale shakes her head.

"She can't move people around, just bits of herself."

"Don't we have magic here? Isn't your boss magic?"

"Yeah. We can go see Dr. Deaton. He might have some ideas."

He seemed kind of cagey about what druids could and couldn't do to Pascale, but she nods anyway.

"It's worth a try."

"Dr. Deaton shouldn't be encouraging you two. He's a doctor."

"He's a witch. Throwing around magic, casting spells on the neighborhood dogs. He's a terrible influence."

"It just seems dangerous. You're already involved enough, and now there's a goddess to help. She'll only get stronger. Maybe soon, Beacon Hills won't need teenagers to protect it, and things can finally go back to normal."

"Maybe."

"Pascale, would you like dessert?"

"Yes, please."

"She has a good point, though. The responsibility for protecting the town shouldn't have to fall to you."

"No one else was doing it. But I guess she's right about Ellayania, as long as we have her."

"I'm not condemning you for doing. Just the opposite, in fact. But the fact that you had to is indicative of a deeper problem."

"She's right, Scott. I know there are reasons no adults were handling this, but most of them aren't very good."

"No one knew any of this was going on, and things can't change in just a couple of months like that."

"Well, going forward, you'll have more options."
