On the city-planet of Elsul, a Sith sits outside a cafe sipping a fruity drink. She's guarded by a heavy battle droid (gathering more than a few startled stares from passerby, which the Sith and the droid both ignore) and accompanied by a servant droid covered in enameled flowers, who's scrolling through a list of local tourist attractions on a datapad and occasionally presenting options to her companions for discussion.
"...Believe it or not, I hate this blasted war more than anything else, except probably slavers - though I sha'n't say more on the subject or its potential relevance."
And something that has, once again, utterly confused Knight Chion.
...If you think about it for five seconds you too could figure out why surrendering a piece of quite possibly strategic intelligence over - what, morale concerns? - would be a horrible idea, Kypora!
Let's not have an argument in front of the Darth, even if it's mostly pointed looks, how does that sound?
Pradnakt comes out of her room at this point, anyway; Daisy crosses the lounge to stand with her. She looks between the Jedi in a bland acknowledgement that she's interrupting, but directs her question at Kalbetis: "Are we ready to go?"
Off they go, then.
"I'm going to want to stay in the group meditation for a few minutes when we're done today; there's something I want to show you all. And, Master Ries, there's also something I'd like to show you privately afterward."
(Daisy, meanwhile, is quietly discussing the state of the Cloak's supplies with Elcie.)
"...We will discuss how or if you will discuss how you learned anything Lord Pradnakt wishes to show you, before you leave. This theoretically including the healing as well, but I do believe you aren't idiots."
"Indeed. If we rescued Padawan Vidarra on our own, as I suspect you'd prefer the claim to be, then clearly we must have figured out the technique necessary from the exigencies of the situation and thanked the Force it wasn't Dark but merely grey, yes?"
(Knight Bani looks like she doesn't really want the credit for this one, to be honest.)
Master Ries meets her eyes and shakes his head briefly; he'll take credit for coming up with the idea even if Knight Bani must take some credit for the execution.
Elcie, meanwhile, has passed on that there's already a supply run planned - it's not that they're out of anything, but that this situation would otherwise leave them unprepared should something unexpected happen, no matter that Kalbetis is present. (Planning for Force intervention is a sucker's bet. They don't make those, around here.)
Absolutely. In that case she'll have a grocery list ready in the morning - she should easily have time for both that and skill uploading - and the Jedi most likely will as well.
And when they get to the medbay, Pradnakt shows Knight Chion how to do the healing while the others get to work on their first patient, a young man who is the recipient of a semi-successful experiment at integrating a venom sac with improved bite strength on top of what they by now recognize as the usual suite of heightened strength, speed, endurance, and aggression.
And are you going to say that this Sith, who hurt so many almost just because, is also a person, Kalbetis?
The Sith who did this was a person too - and all too hurt by the life he lived, she has no doubt - but he made his choices, and suffered the consequences of his actions.
Also, you're leaking into the meditation, maybe consider not doing that.
