Type 1: Blade
A powerful magical sword inhabited by the prodigious intellect of a dead wizard, or similar. Bound to an object, and rarely afforded much interaction with the world without some wielder; generally not actually that mad about it. Based on Enserric the Sword from Neverwinter Nights.

Type 2: Core
A created being - AI, or golem, or artificial god. Bound in the actions available to them by some means; generally, extremely pissed about it. Based on GLaDOS from Portal.
