"It is!  Their pizza's really good too, if you want to split one, or they've got a lot of different pasta dishes."

"Hm... I'll have to give that some thought... I think I'm in the mood for something a bit fancy, so maybe a pasta dish?"

"You wanna split it or each get our own?"

"Dunno. How big are their meals?"

"I usually finish a plate of pasta on my own, but they'll let you order a double-sized one if you want to share."

"Let's share one, then."

"Okay!"

When the waiter comes around, Kaylee orders them a plate of bruschetta and a double portion of a nice fancy pasta dish, plus a soda for herself.

Lianne just goes with iced tea.

"This is really good!" she says of the bruschetta. "Much better than anything I've tried to make."

"Oh, do you cook?"

"Some! Mostly easy stuff."

"I'd love to try something of yours sometime.  I bet it's delicious."

"Aw, thanks! I can cook next time you come over."

"I'd like that!  If you don't mind, of course."

"Not at all! I love cooking for people."

"I can't wait!"

"I'll make something special, then."

Grin.

Their main course arrives shortly thereafter, an enormous helping of spaghetti and tomato sauce with a decorative sprig of basil and a little side of parmesan cheese next to it.

Om nom nom!

"This is good! Thank you for recommending this place!" Lianne says between bites.

Nom!

"You're welcome!  I'm glad you like it so much.  And thank you for coming out to dinner with me!"  Grin.

Eee!

(Lianne is so glad Alex talked her into this.)

Soon there's no dinner left to nom.

Kaylee leans back in her chair and dabs at her mouth with her napkin.  "That was good," she says.

"Yeah!" Smile. "I really enjoyed this, Kaylee. Thank you for agreeing to go out with me."

"I had a really good time too," Kaylee says.  "Thanks for asking me out."

"So, do this again sometime?"

"I'd like that."
