Lianne leans into her a bit, too, in response. "I'm glad we're friends."

"Yeah, me too.  You're - really great."

"Aw, thanks! You are too."

Blush!  "Thanks."

"So, looking forward to group tomorrow? I hope Alex can make it this time - you haven't met her yet, she's the bow user and the one who came up with the superhero thing."

"Yeah!  Last time was fun.  I'm looking forward to meeting her too.  What was her superhero name again?"

"Ace of hearts. I guess because she's got something of a heart theme going with her outfit."

Kaylee giggles.  "Makes as much sense as anything."

"You'll see it! Kinda like Sophie, she has a very classical look going on."

She nods.  "And you're a knight-in-shining-armor and I'm a really stereotypical magical girl."

Kaylee's dad's car pulls up in the parking lot in front of him.

"That's my ride," she says, pointing and un-leaning.

"Cool. I think I see my mom's car, too. See you tomorrow?"

"See you then!  Bye!"

"Bye!" Quick goodbye hug?

Goodbye hug!  Maybe even a slightly longer-than-quick goodbye hug.

Lianne's mom pulls up, so she disentangles herself, feeling oddly reluctant. 

Kaylee's a bit reluctant too.

"See you tomorrow."

"Yeah, see you then."

Her mom calls out, so she waves and then heads to the car.

Kaylee waves goodbye and gets into her dad's car.

Saturday rolls around, and with it the group meeting. Alex - the one Kaylee hasn't met yet - is there this time.

"Hi everyone!" Kaylee says as she arrives.  "Hello, I'm Kaylee - I bet you're Alex, right?"

"Yeah! You're Kaylee, right? Lianne talked about you some, it's great to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too!"  She sits.

"How were everyone's weeks?"

"Mine was good!  Me and Lianne actually went on a hunt together the other day, took down a clock tower witch by the mall."

This earns them congratulations! "Hunting together is a good strategy," Mallory comments. "You two are well-paired weapon-wise, and it's good to have someone there to watch your back."

Sophie, Alex, and Taylor also go into their weeks - Alex has taken down five small-ish witches and a handful of familiars in the two weeks she's been gone, Sophie hasn't had time to hunt because of school, Taylor's mostly been busy with friends.
