But you were better than me guessing what they might be lying about. There are probably different things that all help with being blue and you can make up the ones that aren't as natural as you grow up.

I guess I could imagine finding someone disgusting even if they were terrified of me. I hate the Emperor and maybe if we stopped him and took him here to figure out what to do with him I could look at him and notice all those things and still be disgusted. But I can't for people who aren't evil just red.

They have to exist if you don't have any magic but that is a tradeoff and if they have to be they need to be hidden and careful not to rub off on anything the idea that they might have been touching things is like the idea that there might be bugs, everywhere, hiding, tickly little feet on her skin too light to feel tracking bug footprints all over her; bugs are not immoral but they need to be away and if they are not away it is the same sudden swatting horrified rage -

I mean, they can do all kinds of things, I bet they could make people not find reds disgusting and I don't know if they could make reds different some way that did it but maybe.

...I don't find them disgusting and I still don't have any trouble not touching them.
