Does she have time for a first date before launching the counter-invasion to rescue Doctor Disaster?

Sure! She's just waiting on everyone else to be ready, anyway!

How can she get ahold of this guy? Does she need to fetch an urchin who knows how to operate the pneumatic message tubes, or does she need to enter a video game cheat code to navigate to his house, or...?

Opalyn is in charge!  She just orders somebody to see her will done, and then, something will happen, possibly the thing she had in mind!

All right, well that's straightforward enough.

She'll scrawl a note to Kelsam and ask for it to be delivered ASAP.

He'll show up bearing flowers in very very short order.

"I appreciate your directness," are the first words out of his mouth.

"Oh good, you came right away, even though it's not dinnertime yet! I didn't want to order an immediate summons, I figured you might be in the middle of something."

"I'm flattered that you think I could possibly have been in the middle of anything more important than you."

This is probably shameless flattery.

It's working.

"So. Should we start with the science or the sex?"

"The science, if that works.  If it doesn't then various things will happen to you."

Opalyn suppresses her urge to squirm too much, that would lead to things happening to her and they're doing the science first, but this is a great start.

She does squirm a little, though.
