"Plenty of children your age decide they will not be going to school. That is usually not the case."

She laughs lightly. "I fear that's an academic distinction."

"It would involve a lot of being quiet and sitting still. I'm sure accomodations for floating can be made."

She pushes the concept into his mind.

"Oh, like you make me learn?"

<But slower.>

"How about I take you back to the island while we sort everything out?"

<No. I will wait for Maurice to wake up.>

"That won't be for several days."

<I will stay here for several days.>

"I want to come with you."
