"I know you will, dear."

Small wiggle.

Dalia goes to bed happy that night.

She'll find Vader later tomorrow.

Vader is in her living room when she wakes up. 

"Oh! Hi, mama."

"Hello, Dalia."

"You're uh. Here early."

"I am."

"The Emperor informed me of her - expectations that I will train you in the Dark Side of the Force."

"We talked about it last night."

She nods.

Then, abruptly: "You will be moving into different quarters with me."

"Can I bring my stuff?"

"...A few items. You will still have these quarters available, and you can leave the majority of your things here."

"How long do I have to pack?"

"An hour. You may bring only those items you can carry yourself."

"Okay."

Sheeee's got some hasty prioritizing to do, huh. No time to waste!

Vader waits by the door. 

Dalia returns with two bulging packs worth of clothing and items she definitely can't live without even for a little bit.

...Her mama crosses her arms. "You do not," she says, sternly, "Need all of that."

"I can carry it, though."

"Then bring only the essentials," she says, tone flat. "You cannot train surrounded by needless things."

Uh oh, serious voice.

Dalia quickly condenses down to one reasonably full bag.

A start.

Vader drives them - to the old Temple, actually. She's silent and tense the entire way. 

"We're staying here?"

"Yes."

She's silent for a long moment, parking the speeder but not getting out. 

Then: "It was one of the Emperor's conditions, given other - demands I made."

"Oh."

"Will I be practicing with the Inquisitors?"

"...Not at first."

"You will focus on your training, and the trainees would only distract you at this point. In that vein - all visitors will need to be approved by me."
