"Huf! It seems slow." She blocks one of the spike-vines swinging at her. "How do we get it though? Too high to reach!"

"Anyone got anything that can make fire?"

"Let me try something!"

He carefully loads his slingshot with something... Sharp. And fires.

It cuts some of the tentacles attaching the thing to the roof! All the spike-vines start going for him specifically. "Aaah!"

Zeke pushes him out the way!

This helps with the immediate danger, but he's now a priority target!

He dodges and weaves and takes more shots with the spiky things when he's safe enough. The roof-vines are growing back though, he might not be fast enough.

"Toss me the slingshot!"

"No thank youuu! Fetch my ammo and I can shoot faster! Instead of running and getting them!"

"If you can't do it soon let them use it so we don't all die!"

"Since when you been stupidly brave?"

"Since - unf - the slingshot's mine!"

"We're on the same adventure!"

"Just fetch my ammo, please, I said it. If I can't bring that thing down in twenty shots you can try!"

He tosses it his way.

Nemo proves to increase in accuracy pretty rapidly. And now that he's firing more often, down it goes with a massive FOOMF! The giant flower splays out, revealing a thick bundle of stalks in the middle wriggling around.

"CHAAARGE!" And slash like crazy!

The twins for their part hit them, a lot.

The plant explodes into choking black smoke!

The twins at least retreat. 

Gren is caught in the middle of it, and starts coughing and hacking. She drops the sword.

Tabby pulls her out. 

She eventually recovers. "We did it!"

Zeke does a little victory dance.

"Told you I could do it."
