They have to fight monsters right away. While still gliding to the other side!

Gren dodges and makes for a landing rather than try to fight in midair.

The twins are on the ground and fighting quick.

The primary monster is an irritating propeller-hat thing. Nemo's slingshot combined with gusts from Deku Leaves prove to be the most effective thing against them.

"Why is everything we fight so stupid looking?"

"What, you thought monsters would be pretty?"

"Some of us are very pretty."

"I thought we decided you weren't a monster. And focus! We need to go get that treasure."

Intense Tabitha!

More monsters! The interior of the forbidden woods is just as, if not more, overgrown than the last time they visited it. And a few of the old puzzles seem to have been reactivated, somehow. But the twins already know how to solve them all from last time.

"Easy peasy lemon squeezy."

"Much better than the volcano from before."

That said, it does still take a while. And these woods are foreign to Gren and Nemo. You can barely smell the sea in here, it's overpowered by jungle-y scent... They start to get twitchy and nervous soon enough.

The twins try to keep their spirits up.

"I don't like this place. Let's just hurry to the end."

"Yeah. Who cares if we miss some treasure."

"It's not fun like the rest of the forest."

"It's creepy. There's only a few places we haven't checked, anyway."

Zeke stays very close to Gren, while his sister shadows Nemo.

Soon enough they come to a room covered in leaf detritus, with the Pearl on a pedestal in the center.

"Trap."

"Yep. Most obvious trap I've seen all week."

"Wouldnt it suck if there was no trap, and that was the trick?"

"Yeah, but... It would suck more to get eaten by a monster clinging to the ceiling or something." He looks at the ceiling. No monster.

"Nothing smells weird. And I can't hear anything that shouldn't be there."

Gren ties a rope around her waist and gives the other end to Tabby. "It has to be a trap, but we have to go get it. Yank me out if something bad happens."

"Will do!"

So she carefully walks up-

The ground starts shaking, and she runs back as a giant plant emerges and eats the Pearl!
